Todays video is a timeline that covers Metallica s first ten years as a band. 19811991 aka the Thrash Metal Years. During their first ten years as a band Metallica managed to create an everlasting legacy with albums such as Kill Em All, Ride the Lightning, Master of Puppets, Justice For All The Black Album. After that the quality of their outputs dropped and they released some underwhelming albums. But who cares about that, this is the time period that matters. Enjoy Correction: The names that were suggested to have auditioned with Metallica when Cliff died were false. Some of those guys auditioned when Jason Newsted left the band. Metallica s Kill Em All was released on the 25th of July in 1983, not in May as stated in the video.
