Ralph Lawson Tuccillo Lost in Dub ( Live Mixdown) Lost in Time Records
Dub is one of the most overused words in dance music. The word is usually used to mean an instrumental mix with perhaps the odd delayed vocal thrown in. But the rich history of dub has its roots as far back as the 1960s when Jamaican pioneer King Tubby started to create stripped down versions of songs using just the Riddim tracks with heavy use of echo and reverb effects units. Since then dub has had an impact and influence on every worthwhile form of dance music including House and Techno Music.
