This one is played on my Gibson ES 335. After the solo, I talk a bit about the inspiration and concepts that I used for the solo. I like to use small snippets of inspiration from some of my guitar player heroes and piece them together to create something new. Ideas and licks that I used here stem from Eric Clapton, Rory Gallagher, Matt Schofield, Stevie Ray Vaughan, and others. Most of the solo was prewritten (before recording), but the last bars where improvised. To my own surprise, I added quintuplets, a rhythm I practiced a few months ago, but struggled with the get it into my playing.
