Abed Owaysi came to Russia from Jordan(which some mispronounce it as Pakistan) to study but found his calling in getting on stage and telling jokes to drunk Hes been hosting and performing comedy for more than three years now, a regular performer at Standup Store Moscow, Stand Up Club, 1, Jim N Jacks Expat Bar and EMCs comedy cellar. Last April paid his rent by winning EMCs last comic standing. He performs in three languages, Russian, English and Arabic, also is regularly mistaken for both a drug dealer and Steve Jobs, they are after all two very similar things, one of them gets others to make and sell overpriced merchandise that affects your brain making you unable to live without it and the other one a drug dealer.
