Painting Shadows Plein Air

Learn how I paint shadows plein air. Many times, artists can make their shadows too dark. This can happen more often when artists are using photos. For this landscape plein air oil painting palette I used : Titanium White, Ivory Black, Burnt Sienna, Yellow Ochre, Ultramarine Blue, Cadmium Yellow Light, and Cadmium Red.
