Removing climbing anchor and reusing the hole for new bolt
A demonstration of Climb Nova Scotia members replacing a standard wedge bolt anchor commonly used for anchors for rock climbing. Using a 12 volt impact driver with a socket head, two bolts, and a washer we successfully spin the bolt inside the hole making it loose enough to wiggle it in the hole. Then we use a 8 tone hydraulic press to pull the bolt leaving a 3, 8 hole that we redrill with 1, 2 to place a titanium gluein.
