BREAKING: Iran plan to assassinate Netanyahu Gallant foiled by Israel, Live NOW from FOX
Israel police and the Shin Bet said they have foiled a plot to assassinate highranking Israeli officials, including Israels Prime Minister Benjamin Bibi Netanyahu and Defense Minister Yoav Gallant. In a news release, Israel police said Moti Maman, the 73yearold Israeli suspect was able to smuggle himself into Iran at least twice to meet with Iranian intelligence, working with them in an attempt to assassinate Netanyahu and others. Maman was reportedly paid by Iran to carry out missions for the country. The announcement came days after it was revealed that the Hezbollah terror group plotted to assassinate former highranking officials within Israel. Hezbollah has blamed Israel for two days of deadly explosions, including the pagers, walkietalkies and solar panels of terror group members exploding, killing at least 20 people and wounding more than 3, 000 others.
