Rice Paper Flower Rose , How to make Translucent Rice Paper flower, Rice Paper Rose Tutorial

I wanted to have a go at creating something different than a fantasy flower so I thought of attempting a Rose. I used 2 sizes of petals for this project. When colouring the water I started with lighter colours for the outer large petals. then I shaded it a tad bit darker this was for the next 5 small petals And then a bit more colour for the last 3 small petals and the bud. The shade isn t visible on camera but it is to the naked eye. I used a small piece of damp rice paper to then tape the wires on to each petal. Always make extra petals as I had trouble trying to release a few and I had made the exact number I needed Secure with a thread and then with florist tape. I absolutely loved the outcome of this.
