Registran sobrepoblación en cárceles mexicanas, donde solo el 60 de reos ha recibido sentencia
El grupo de Diarios América hizo un análisis del panorama de las cárceles de varios países latinoamericanos. De acuerdo con los datos obtenidos, las tres naciones con mayor población penitenciaria durante los últimos 7 años son Brasil, Argentina y México. En esta última, el 47, 3 de los centros de reclusión registran una sobrepoblación, mientras la cantidad de presos que no tienen condena ni acusación ronda el 40 .
