KHOG 1997 TOWER

In 1997 a tornado blew something into the KHOG broadcast tower so it was unsafe to climb. It had to be collapsed in place and replaced with a new tower. To control the fall the tower crew tightened the guy wires in the direction they wanted it to fall and then cut the remaining anchor point. It did buckle on the way down.
