J. S. Bach: Pièce dorgue BWV 572 ( P. Bardon)
The legendary organist Pierre Bardon plays the Fantasia in G major BWV 572 (Pièce d orgue) by Johann Sebastian Bach during a live concert (on September 1st 2019, for his 85th Birthday) at the historical organ built by JeanEsprit and Joseph Isnard in the Basilique SainteMarieMadeleine of Saint Maximin la Sainte Baume. I would like to quote a couple of thoughts that Maestro Bardon told me before the concert. He thinks that this Fantasia is a metaphor of the life. The first movement is the youth, while the Gravement is the adulthood. The final chord of the second movement is the death and it brings to the resurrection. 1. Très vitement 0:17 2.
