Here you witness the launching of the very first really working reed made of plastic for an Uilleann Pipes least, which I know of It has been made by HansJörg Podworny, of Peine, Germany, one of the few professional makers in this country. He gave me four specimens, and one of them fits perfectly to a chanter made by Hans Reusch, of Cologne.
