Happy Birthday Bill Stewart Drum Licks and Crosstalk Groove Multicam

Jazz drummer Bill Stewart is 46 today (Oct 18, 2012) Bill has easily been the greatest influence on my jazz drumming. The first clip is a lick he uses sometimes during solos. I play it fast, slower to give a good view of the sticking, and then full speed again. The second clip is another idea he uses during solos and he orchestrates it in many interesting ways; two of which I demonstrate here at fast and slow tempos.
