Mushroom Farm Aka Airman At Home, Mushroom Fair (1958)
Eastry, Kent. L, S of a family in a long garden with a house in the background. They are Wing Commander Stanford Tuck who flew in the Battle of Britain, and his wife Joyce and two sons, Simon and Michael. Joyce is taking cuttings and Tuck is showing his two sons how to shoot on a miniature range. M, S of Tuck and the boys all holding guns, he explains something to them and they both take aim. M, S of the light bulbs they are firing at. C, U of Tuck looking upwards, the camera pans up to the sky. There is then some black and white footage of British planes flying in formation overhead, and some fighter planes filmed from the air. A pilot bails out of his distressed plane. Back to the present day and the last light bulb is shown breaking. C, U of the German Sheepdog Tex getting up and barking.
