Eleanor McEvoy and Mary Black perform the title track to the album A Womans Heart. Eleanor McEvoy, who wrote the song A Womans Heart was a violinist with the National Symphony Orchestra, and has played support to international acts such as Joan Armatrading. Eleanor McEvoy and her band are joined on the Late Late Show by singer Mary Black for a performance of the title track of the album A Womans Heart. This performance was part of a Late Late Show special for Irish musician Sharon Shannon. A Womans Heart is a compilation of twelve songs performed by six female Irish artists, including Eleanor McEvoy, Mary Black, Frances Black, Dolores Keane, Sharon Shannon, and Maura OConnell. The album was released in July 1992 on Dara Records and was produced by Joe OReilly, Mary Blacks husband. The album went on to break the record as the best selling Irish album of all time in the Irish charts. This episode of The Late Late Show was broadcast on 18 December 1992.
