US CH 47 Chinook shot down by Mujahidin ( Aftermath)

On 6 August 2011, a U. S. Boeing CH47 Chinook military helicopter was shot down while taking part in a night raid on a village in Wardak province, west of Kabul, Afghanistan, killing all 38 people on board30 American special operations personnel, seven Afghan commandos, and one Afghan interpreteras well as a U. S. military dog.
