Ngombi vibes
Bokayé This 8string harp from Gabon is called Ngombi and belongs to the ancient family of arched harps that originated in Mesopotamia, Iran and Egypt around 30002000BC. Harps of similar designs can be seen in Egyptian frescoes dating back to the 18th dynasty (circa 15431292BC). It is hypothesised that these harps arrived in Gabon with the migration of the Fang people from Egypt at some point in history.
