Mayan ruins in Mayapan, in the Yucatan Peninsula, Mexico

I got permission to fly the ruins as long as I was supervised, and I was closely supervised. My wife, daughter and I were the only ones at the site which made the tour even better. Our guide told us he was a descendant of the Mayans that lived there. He had a lot of knowledge and did a great job of transferring it to us.
