John Robert Joe Cocker OBE (20 May 1944 22 December 2014) was an English singer known for his gritty voice, spasmodic body movement in performance. He became well known because of his performance on Woodstock 1969 with his version of With a little help from my friends. This performance was recorded at the Dutch AVRO Platengala 1984 broadcast on 10 October 1984.
