Glenfiddich Excellence 26 Year Old: Creation of the wood

The story of our Glenfiddich Excellence 26 Year Old begins in the heartland of America, in the white oak forests of Kentucky. It is the wood from these very trees that is used to make the casks in which our newest expression has matured for over a quarter of a century. Local lumberjack Tim is responsible for locating these 90 feet tall trees, felling them and cutting them into smaller logs before they are taken to a local stave mill and cut down.
