Rebooting my Tesla Model S frozen driver display during a trip

When I drove back from Utrecht to Amsterdam suddenly the driver display was stuck Volume keys did not work any more, speed was 69 forever, navigation frozen. Time to reboot. First time this happened to me. Could I do this during driving I do it with the 17 inch display all the time but the driver display
