The artwork Superficie in vibrazione is an elastic surface in natural caoutchouc, with a regular array of needles fixed on it. The needles are triggered by the movement of a propeller connected to a motor that rotates behind the caoutchouc. Initially the needles were moved by a motor that can be switched on by the audience.
