He Traded a Paperclip for a House is the new film by RT Documentary about a Russian blogger who decided to repeat the Kyle McDonald red paperclip experiment and exchange a paperclip for a house. Ruslan Chistyakov is a blogger from the provincial town of Angarsk who decided to change his life drastically. Ruslan has a very vivid imagination and is a very artistic guy, and leading an everyday life of stability was devastating for him. This is why he left his steady job at the local plant and convinced his wife Kristina to relocate to the larger city of Irkutsk and start a new life there. But there was one problem. Ruslan has always dreamt about a house of his own, but he didn t have the money and was denied a mortgage seven times. This is why he thought of the red paper clip experiment performed by Kyle McDonald in 20052006 and decided to test his luck. Ruslan describes himself as a very outgoing person. He loves to meet new people and talk to them, so he decided to use his people skills.
