Taiwanese president watches troops during large scale military exercises

Taiwanese leader Tsai Ingwen has attended a series of largescale military drills. As part of the annual exercises, 20 warships including frigates and destroyers fired shells to intercept and attack a wouldbe invading force off Taiwans northeast coast, while fighter jets and domestically manufactured ChingKuo fighters launched airstrikes.
