Prelude Raindrops Chopin

Chopins Raindrops Prelude Performed by myself Prelude No. 15 in Dflat, nicknamed the Raindrop Prelude, is the longest of the twentyfour. The main melody is repeated three times; the melody in the middle, however, is much more dark and dramatic. Written at Valdemosa, Majorca, in 1838. It is said to have been suggested by the dripping of raindrops from the roof; hence the continuously repeated A flat G sharp, which is the dominant both of the main key and of the C sharp minor middle section.
