Deep Purple Hey Joe
The band wanted to include Hey Joe, which had famously been recorded some eighteen months prior by Jimi Hendrix, who was a big name at this time. The song is a dramatic rearrangement to Hendrix s version; led off by a long intro with various soundeffects, and much slower paced structure overall. Also, it is ended with a much longer outro than the aforementioned version. After the instrumental sections are over, there are some low sounds of someone walking away and presumably slamming a door.
