Andante con moto This piano trio is the début composition of César Franck (18221890), the first published work of the Trios concertants, Opp. 12 (The other three trios are also posted on this channel). It took me a while to appreciate this work, but now it has become one of my favourite pieces of chamber music, especially when given such a breathtaking, passionate performance.
