1930s Screw Jack Saved From The Junk Man Perfect Restoration
Welcome to another fun little restoration project that the whole family can enjoy. This time its the turn of this 90 year old Lake Elliot screw jack that i managed to dig out of a barn that was getting renovated. Very little information is out there for this particular jack all I ve managed to find out is what I could find on the classic British jack website the info is posted below. Lake Elliot N17080 Description This is a 2 stage screw jack. On one side is cast N17080 and on the other LAKE ELLIOT LTD BRAINTREE ENGLAND. On top of the winding bevel gear is FABRIQUE EN ANGLETERRE suggesting that this jack may be for a French Vehicle. It is 8. 25 closed. Information that has come to light says that N17080 is a Ford stock number for Fordson jacking systems. Applicable Vehicles: Fordson tractors built between 1931 and 1945. Jack Handle Type: Rectangular bar. So anyway I hope you enjoy this little restoration and will join me again next
