This album, first released in 1966 was later reissued on the Interdisc label. The Spotnicks were formed in Göteborg, Sweden in 1961 and exhibited a guitar sound similar to the Ventures and the Shadows. They released over 40 albums with their popularity extending across Europe and to Japan and Australia. In 1963, the scoed a UK Top20 hit with Hava Nagila on the Oriole label. This year (2020) saw the passing of two of the groups early members Bo Winberg in January and Bob Lander in May.
