In 1959 Andre Previn recorded a jazz album for MGM Records with piano accompanied by a string orchestra conducted by David Rose. The album was titled Secret Songs for Young Lovers and featured the hit single, Like This was the first of several very fine recordings of this type on the MGM and Columbia labels.
