The Jerusalem Light Rail
A 21st century way to commute through an ancient city. Running from the northern edge of Jerusalem to Mount Herzl in the south, with further extensions planned, the electrified Jerusalem Light Rail has changed the face of transportation in the ancient city. The Light Rail runs 13. 9 kilometers (8. 6 miles) through the capital, stopping at most major tourist sites and connecting with bus lines. It s a great way to meet the people of Jerusalem and get a real feel for life in the city.
