Master the Pentatonic Major with the 2 Main Shapes, , Guitar Lesson, , BGT 15 16
Here s the first video of the Master the Pentatonic Major series, where I show you the easiest way to find the two main fingerboard areas of the Pentatonic Major for phrasing and soloing. The rule is if you move any position of the Blues Scale a minor 3rd (3 frets) back, you ll find the Pentatonic Major in the same key. Follow these steps: 1. Find the ROOT on the 6th and 5th strings. 2. Move the 1st BOX of the Blues Scale (with the root on the 6th string) three frets back. 3. Move the 4th BOX of the Blues Scale (with the root on the 5th string) three frets back. These are the two main fretboard areas for phrasing and soloing.
