Reproducing a Vintage Leather Hippie Bag

TOOLS + MATERIALS: PATTERNS: BOTTLEHOOKS: Reproducing a Vintage Leather Hippie Bag Part 1 here: This week we used the pattern we made in last week s video to reproduce an accurate hippie bag from the 60 s, 70 s, and it came out great We used leather lacing to assemble all the parts and solid brass hardware to upgrade the original design with a removable shoulder strap. We made this whole cross body from Hermann Oak vegetable tanned leather, and wet molded the lace in so it will stay put over the years. Enjoy
