On to Light Shaping with Justin Mary Marantz: Lighting Wintry Walkways the Quick and Easy Way

The On to Light Shaping series consists of 18 videos featuring 18 renowned wedding and portrait photographers. Each one has tried the new Profoto OffCamera Flash system. Each one has shot some stunning images with it. In husband wife team wedding photographers Justin Marys case, they brought a B2 OffCamera Flash and an OCF Softbox 2 Octa with them to a snowy Yale campus. Even though it can be beautiful, it might not be the best forecast for a wedding photo shoot. They had to work fast. Because the B2 Heads are so light and compact, even with a softbox attached, its easy to hold them extended outward on a boom while tracking the models, says Justin. Its far more strenuous to try this sort of lighting with heavier wireless offcamera flash systems.
