Openly gay 11yearold Marcel Neergaard and his father Mike talk about their experiences and efforts to make a difference. Marcel declared himself gay when he was 10 years old, and after experiencing severe bullying in fifth grade at Jefferson Middle School in Oak Ridge, he was homeschooled this year by his mom.
