Hotels, restaurants, shopping, fishing, Dolphin watching, parasailing, Schlitterbaun and the Sea Turtle rescue center only scratch the surface of what South Padre has to offer visitors. The beach is filled with families and young people building sandcastles and playing in the surf. The 21, 2 mile long Queen Isabella Memorial Bridge connects South Padre Island to Port Isabel and the great State of Texas.
