Worlds tallest man meets worlds shortest in London
Turkeys Sultan Kosen and Nepals Chandra Dangi come face to face well, face to shin in London to celebrate the 10th annual Guinness World Records Day. The world s tallest and shortest men have met for the first time opposite the Houses of Parliament in London. Sultan Kosen, who stands 8ft 9in tall, stooped down to shake hands with Chandra Bahadur Dangi from Nepal, who measures (55cm) tall. Mr Kosen, a 31yearold farmer from Turkey, said meeting 74yearold Mr Dangi was amazing, although he admitted bending the long, long way down for photographs was difficult. During an interview, the two men described how becoming recordholders had helped them overcome their struggles to be accepted. As well as being the tallest man, Kosen s hands are the biggest in the world an impressive from the wrist to the tip of his middle finger.
