Style Week Northeast January 2013: Kent Stetson Anniversary Runway Show with Big Nazo
The catwalk became a stage for Kent Stetson s tenthyear anniversary celebration. He s been creating his incredible handbagsworks of art, reallyfor a decade, and he wanted to go big for this show. The audience was in for quite a delight when his unconventional models strutted their stuffProvidence s own Big Nazo lab creatures There were at least a dozen wild and ridiculous alienlike creatures stalking down the runway presenting his purses like gifts from the gods. Handbag designs included a photographic print of a Martian s face made into an oversized clutch, a fuchsia space suitlike tote, a leather carryall with an alien eye printed lining, a black tote sporting a bony xray print and an amazing orange purse with dangling gold chains.
