Huw Edwards GUILTY BUT NO JAIL TIME

Former BBC presenter Huw Edwards given 6 month suspended sentence after being found guilty of having explicit images of children as young as 79. Edwards, who was the highest paid BBC News anchor, previously admitted 3 charges of making indecent photographs and being found to be in possession of 41 images. Sentencing Edwards, Chief Magistrate Paul Goldspring told the broadcaster: Perhaps it does not need saying but you are of previous good The judge said he accepts Edwards had been of exemplary good character having enjoyed a very successful career in the media.
