Knights Templars Meet At Finchdale Priory (1937)
Unused, unissued material no paperwork dates unclear or unknown. Finchdale Priory, 4 miles north of Durham City. A parade around the ruins of the Priory. Led by vergers and a choir. They are followed by members of the Knights Templars of the Order of St. John of Jerusalem. The garb of the Knights includes a long white cape emblazoned with a double cross and a small round hat also carrying the cross. They wear sashes under their cloaks and have swords on their belts.
