Viola Davis, Steve Mc Queen the cast of Widows on changing roles for women on film
Widows premiered at the 2018 Toronto Film Festival in Canada. It is cowritten and directed by Twelve Years a Slave Oscar Winning director Steve McQueen. Gone Girl and Sharp Objects writer Gillian Flynn cowrote the script from the Lynda LaPlante original.
