The first show I ever dragged my camera to. Cameras were huge back then, they came in plastic cases which wouldn t fit the hand luggage restrictions in ryanair nowadays. Battery packs ran for 45 minutes maximum, tapes were 30 minutes. Gigs were different then, too. The front rows would dance wildly and not be aiming an army of mobiles at the performers. I only learned after the concert that the band wanted to have a word with the sneaky teen who had brought his big machine to their show.
