Life of an Architect Client + Site Meeting Pre Design
Join me as I meet with my clients and visit the property they purchased where they want to build their home. The Meeting We met at a coffee shop where we discussed their program and project requirements. This is the initial step to the architectural design process and is often called the predesign phase. They shared with me their vision for their home. It is important to listen to your clients and ask them questions that will help you understand their project at a deeper level. Questions like How do you want to feel when you walk in your house or What s your morning routine will help you solve their problems. The Site Visit Seeing the site in person is an important part of the design process. It is important to take note of opportunities and challenges that you might face within the site.
