The Beatles Tales Of Frankie Rabbit
Recorded January 31, 1969 during the Get Back, Let It Be sessions. Recorded in the studio on the last day of the sessions, the day after the rooftop concert. It is reported to be a Lennon, McCartney original song, but it is a cover. The original artist Drew and Dy managed to get an audition for Apple records in 1968, playing in a room for Paul McCartney, since they didn t have a demo tape to give him. Full story here: The song was recorded on a demo as Tails Of Franky Rabbit in a slower folk style. Because Apple still has the rights to the original demo, the song was rerecorded in a more up tempo style later: This recording has been rebalanced and remastered by Red Hector.
