Japanese Street Food: Seafood in Osaka
Scallops are prepared in two different ways at BBQ street food joints in Osaka and Tokyo. As shown in this place: The scallops are cleaned, gutted and cut into small pieces and then placed again in their shell to be cooked. In some other places, however, scallops are just grilled as their are, it might saves some preparation time but it can be a rather unsettling culinary experience to an unclean Scallop.
