Shes In The Army Now Jamie Lee Curtis, Melanie Griffith, Kathleen Quinlan (1981)

Young women join the Army in this TV movie pilot for a prospective series. This was created following the success of Goldie Hawn s Private Benjamin which also spawned a television series in 1981. It s not a very good movie and the hijinks seem better suited to a women s prison movie. But it does have Janet Maclachlan and Damita Jo Freeman; the latter also starred in the Private Benjamin movie and series as two different characters. I do not own the copyright to this film and have posted it for historical and research purposes only. And Jamie Lee Curtis completists (although I skew towards Kathleen Quinlan).
