Boiler Room is coming to Asia for a cultural tour to showcase some of the continent s most progressive active music hubs. A 10+ date journey across club spaces, cultural institutions, festivals, the tour will bring together a series of programmes centred on local scenes vital innovators across Asia s club underground. Our first stop is Japan Tokyo s Contact: the iconic Shibuya basement bunker with a long history of championing the global local vanguard. Our program in October will feature: Oliver Ho s industrial techno project Broken English Club; Berlin s Rhyw (aka Cassegrain s Alex Tsiridis); local heroes in deep techno doyen Wata Igarishi, 解体新書 (KaitaiShinsho) founder Romy Mats Bokeh Versions innovator Mars89. We will be broadcasting this showcase in collaboration with our friends at Dommune.
