Everybody Wants To Rule The World Dark Swan Queen

Regina lives in a palace, is told to be a queen as soon as they find her a proper King to marry and has no freedom to be herself what so ever because of her controlling mother, Cora. Emma, the daughter of a palace guard and Cora s main maid, sees how Regina suffers under the pressure and befriends her one night, thinking that she could sure use a friend. Emma continues to be Regina s best friend and secrets keeper, following her even when she decided to fight back against the oppression with magic. Emma doesn t agree with Regina turning to magic, finding it soulcorrupting and something that always, always comes with a price. They fight about it, until Regina gives into the darkness completely and throws Emma into the dungeon, visiting her when she feels unsure of her choices. Emma thinks she can still bring out the light in Regina but the Dark Queen is only interested in taking control, in being the one who rules the world, not the man around her. Finally, Emma gives in and lives with Regina in the cast
