Hard Times ( Charles Bronson, James Coburn, Walter Hill, street fights, classic)
Hard Times also known as Street fighter in some countries. During the Great Depression, Bronson plays drifter Chaney the strong silent type who befriends the promoter of illegal street fights Speed (Coburn) and they go to New Orleans to make money fighting on the streets. Soon however gangsters hears about Chaney and want their piece of the action. Charles Bronson mainly made this film to show critics that he was not too old and shut them up, a thing he did as no critic would call him too old after this film. A great classic street fighter film. Enjoy Walter Hills directional debut who would go on on making tough guy films for the rest of his career.
