London Ski School (1965)
Hammersmith, London. Indoor ski run is featured. Lots of young children are being taught to ski. Very cute little outfits including knitted jumpers with matching balaclavas. There is a pair of twin girls about 5 or 6 years old. A boy in sky blue is pretty good. Various shots of the children skiing they look very cute. A couple of the kids fall over but they don t mind Narrator observes how: the Hammersmith Ski School wouldn t exist if this sport hadn t suddenly become something compulsive that the English have suddenly gone in for. Second part of the item is a great ski wear fashion show. Women model great fur trimmed jackets, thick pink knitted jumpers, a mauve ensemble, black anoraks, etc. A very bizarre balaclava is modelled by a man. It is a little bit scary.
